Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the iOS app Hiyoko Time Card (the "App"), provided by Vinh Nguyen ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in line with these Terms and the App Store rules.
2. Pay estimates
Pay, overtime, night and holiday premiums, transport costs, taxes, social insurance and income thresholds shown in the App are estimates calculated from the settings and shifts you enter. They may differ from what your employer pays, and they are not legal, tax or accounting advice. Always check your official pay slip. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter.
3. Your data
Your data is stored on your device and, if you turn it on, in your own iCloud. We cannot recover data that is lost because a device is lost or reset, iCloud is turned off, or the App is deleted. Please keep a backup of anything important.
4. Ads and Hiyoko Premium
The App is free and shows ads. Some features may be unlocked by watching an optional rewarded video.
Hiyoko Premium is an optional auto-renewable subscription (monthly or yearly). The price and period are shown before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
5. Acceptable use
Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or distribute the App, or interfere with its services.
6. Intellectual property
The App, its design, text, characters and icons are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
7. Availability and updates
We may update, change or stop offering the App or any part of it at any time.
8. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the App or its calculations will be error-free or uninterrupted.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including differences between estimated and actual pay. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
